Mosquitoe spraying  ATTENTION  Mosquitoe spraying

The Public Works Department would like to make all residents aware of the City's Mosquitoe Control changes, effective immediately. 

Current weekly spraying is on Thursday evenings.

New weekly spraying schedule:
Wednesday evenings around dusk.

If for any reason spraying cannot be performed on Wednesday then spraying will occur on the next available day.

Candidate Information

At the Consolidated General Election
To be held on
April 4, 2017,
The following positions at the City will be available:

     Mayor      4-year term
Treasurer      4 year term
City Clerk      4 year term
Aldermen(3)   4 year term
Ward 1 – 1 seat
Ward 2 – 1 seat
Ward 3 – 1 seat

Aldermen(1)   2 year term
Ward 3 – 1 seat

Petitions for these positions are available at the City Office Monday through
Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Petition may not be circulated prior to
September 20, 2016.

In order to be placed on the ballot the petitions must be completed, notarized and returned to the City Clerk during the week of December 12-December 19, 2016.

Candidates will be placed on the ballot in the order they return their completed
petitions to the City Clerk.
